Sayyidna Amir Muawiyah Bin Abi Sufyan (RA) was conceived in the year 602 A. D. He was the child of the Quraish pioneer Sayyidna Abu Sufyan Bin Harb (RA). He had a place with the group of Banu Umayya which was the second most effective family in Mecca after the Banu Hashim to which the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had a place. At the point when The Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) began lecturing Islam, the Banu Umayya restricted him eagerly. Furthermore since the pre islamic period there was competition between the places of Banu Hashim and the Banu umayya. Eventually when Mecca was vanquished by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in 630 A. D. the group of Sayyidna Abu Sufyan Bin Harb (RA) acknowledged Islam. Sayyidna Amir Muawiyah Bin Abi Sufyan (RA) had effectively acknowledged Islam in his heart before the victory of Mecca however he didn't reveal it to anyone. Muawiyah bin Abi-Sufyan was conceived in Mecca to Abu Sufyan ibn Harb and Hind bint Utbah (601 CE) into the Banu Umayya sub-tribe of the Banu Abd-Shams family of the Quraysh tribe. The Quraysh controlled the city of Mecca (in the west of present-day Saudi Arabia) and the Banu Abd-Shams were among the most compelling of its natives. The significance of Muawiyah in Arabic lexicon is adolescent fox. His Father Abu-sufyan battled against Islam until Fateh-e-Macca (Mecca was prevailed). Muawiyah, Muhammad and Ali had the same incredible extraordinary granddad Abdu Manaf bin Qusay, who had four children: Hashim, Muttalib, Nawfal, and Abdu Shams. Hashim was the incredible granddad of Ali and Muhammad. Umayyah bin Abdu Shams was the extraordinary granddad of Muawiyah.
